San Francisco State University (SFSU) was founded in 1899, located in the southwest corner of Downtown San Francisco, covering an area of about 106 hectares. SFSU is a famous public university, enjoying a high reputation among more than 4,000 colleges and universities in the United States.
The name of the school has undergone four changes, from San Francisco Teachers college, San Francisco State College, California State University San Francisco campus to the present San Francisco State University.
